Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
Most provinces and territories in Canada can nominate immigrants through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). To apply under this stream, you must have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of that province or territory, and must want to live there. Each province and territory’s streams have their own eligibility requirements and nomination guidelines for their programs.
To apply under this program, a nominee must first receive a Provincial Nomination Certificate from the province/territory. After a successful nomination by a province/territory, a separate application must be made for permanent residence.
